Julia Sawyer BSc (Hons) MIOSH MCEIH MIoL
Director of JSL Consultancy, Julia is a qualified Safety and Health Practitioner. Julia spent 19 years in Local Government finishing the last 5 years as the manager of the Safety and Licensing section at the London Borough Hammersmith and Fulham. In 2006 she left Local Government to set up JSL Consultancy.
Julia holds a degree in Environmental Health, is the treasurer and active member of the Institute of Licensing - London Region, a member of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and a member of the Institute of Safety and Health. All professional organisations requiring proof of continual professional development.
Since leaving Local Government Julia works with the Southbank Centre, Beds and Bars, Audi UK and has carried out work for many other companies including licensed premises in and outside of London, hairdressing salons and funeral directors. In addition to this work Julia has delivered the BIIAB National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders, the BIIAB National Certificate for Licensing Practitioners and IOSH managing safely courses to ITV Productions and many people in the commercial industry and various other health and safety courses.
One of Julia’s greatest achievements was to complete an expedition to the Geomagnetic North Pole in 2006, raising lots of money for cancer research.
Perry Sawyer
Following on from a military career, Perry Sawyer is a fire fighter with 19 years experience. He has extensive fire safety knowledge, is a trained first aider and instructor in the wearing of breathing apparatus. During the course of his profession as a full time fire fighter Perry has completed the NEBOSH Fire Risk Management Certificate, a methods of instruction course, the IOSH certificate and manual handling courses.
Perry is fully conversant with all the fire safety regulations and can provide the full fire awareness safety risk assessment package, including training.
Bruce Perry
Bruce retired from the Metropolitan Police in 1990 after having completed 30 years of service then went on to be Senior Licensing Officer at the London Borough Hammersmith and Fulham. Bruce has extensive knowledge and experience in football safety and all licensing matters.
Since retiring from the Council he has provided health and safety training, carried out health and safety audits, provided general licensing advice and appeared in court to represent the Council on licensing issues.
Chris Brickwood
Chris is a firefighter with 11 years experience. He has extensive fire safety knowledge and is a trained first aider. During the course of his profession as a full time fire fighter Chris has obtained the IOSH Certificate and completed manual handling training.
Chris is fully conversant with all the fire safety regulations and can provide the full fire awareness safety risk assessment package, including training.
